Akimbo The Global Groove Band are helping Roger and Dom to celebrate their joint birthdays - followed by the birthday dynamic duo doing a disco! No giftes required - just food to share!

One dancer at the Akimbo event in March 2009 wrote:

About Dance For Life on Sundays

We are a friendly group who meet to dance for the love of life! And we welcome newcomers. We dance for many reasons from dancing our feelings to keep fit, to have fun, to make new friends! More details about our dancing programme can be found here

“Dance for life!” requires no fixed dance steps

We will dance on our own, with partners, and with the whole group. These are open sessions, meaning that you can come to one, or as many as you like; and the dances are open to beginners and experienced alike. There is no right or wrong way to dance! Sometimes we dance to live bands or a DJ that plays great music that stirs the mind, body & soul.
